On Saturday 5 July, colleagues from across the Trust joined forces with award-winning sexual health clinic at 56 Dean Street to proudly march in the London Pride parade. Together, they stood in solidarity with LGBTQ+ communities and reaffirmed the Trust’s ongoing commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.

This year, their vibrant presence on the parade route was made even more meaningful through custom-designed Pride t-shirts, which raised awareness of DoxyPEP – a new way of reducing sexually transmitted infections (STIs) through a preventative antibiotic. Read more about DoxyPEP.

By proudly showcasing this message, the Trust helped share vital public health information about reducing STIs and improving sexual health outcomes – an area in which 56 Dean Street, based in Soho, continues to lead nationally.

A huge thank you goes out to everyone who took part in Pride this year – whether by joining the march, supporting from the sidelines, or working behind the scenes to make it all happen. The energy, visibility and advocacy shown are part of what makes Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust a welcoming and inclusive place for patients, staff and the wider community.

Here’s to a future where everyone can live openly and confidently – with access to the care, respect and information they need to stay healthy and thrive.
