Kobler Rehabilitation Class

The Kobler Rehabilitation Class provides group exercise and HIV specific education. The aim is to help you achieve personal goals and improve your fitness, function, strength, flexibility and quality of life, while helping you manage the “ups and downs” or episodes of disability that can be unpredictable when living with HIV. The Kobler Rehabilitation Class is for men, women, trans and non-binary people living with HIV, who experience physical, mental, cognitive and social health related challenges, and people living with disabilities and episodic health challenges. Once you begin, The Kobler Rehabilitation Class is open access meaning you can attend, return or restart depending on your episodes of health, disability, illness and wellness. Open access aims to reduce barriers to accessing rehabilitation when living with HIV and episodic disabilities.

The Kobler Rehabilitation Class takes place on:

  • Tuesdays: 1:30–3pm
  • Fridays: 11am–12:30pm

The following HIV specific education sessions occur during our “self-management programme” on Fridays from 11–11:30am. Some sessions will be followed by a 'reflection' session the next week, to share experiences and learn from each other.
