Trust Library Services

Welcome to Library Services. We support all Trust staff and students on placement through two main library sites:

• Chelsea and Westminster Campus Library (provided by Imperial College London under a service-level agreement)
• Patricia Bowen Library at West Middlesex University Hospital (NHS-managed)

Both libraries offer:

• 24-hour access to study spaces
• Computers, Wi-Fi and printing facilities
• A wide range of print and electronic resources to support education, research and professional development

Library membership

To access library services, all users must register:

• Chelsea site: Imperial College Library Membership Form
• West Middlesex site: Patricia Bowen Library Membership Form

Library resources

Membership provides access to a broad collection of educational and clinical resources, including:

• Point of care tools—BMJ Best Practice and DynaMed
• Healthcare databases
• NHS and higher education databases
• E-books and journals from platforms such as Kortext, Oxford University Press and Lippincott Williams & Wilkins
• The NHS Knowledge & Library Hub
• Wellbeing audiobooks and recreational e-books

These resources are accessed via your OpenAthens account (register for an account).
