Simulation Nurses are responsible for planning, organising and delivering simulation training sessions that replicate real-life clinical scenarios. This training helps healthcare staff to improve their clinical skills, teamwork and decision-making abilities in a safe and controlled environment. Simulation Nurses work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement simulation programmes. They create realistic scenarios using high-fidelity manikins, standardised patients and other simulation tools, addressing common clinical challenges and promoting patient safety. In addition to delivering training sessions, Simulation Nurses evaluate the effectiveness of the training and provide feedback to participants. They play a key role in identifying system gaps and implementing corrective actions to enhance clinical practice.
