Macmillan Information and Support Centre

Free cancer information, support and complementary therapies for anyone affected by cancer.

The Macmillan Centre is open Mon–Fri in the Lower Ground Floor Outpatients Atrium (between lift banks C and D) at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital—follow the signage to the Lower Ground Floor Outpatients Department to find us.

We offer a drop-in service, providing cancer information and emotional and confidential one-to-one support to anyone affected by cancer. We can offer you free, high-quality information and support in a relaxed, comfortable environment. We also offer a complementary therapy service, including reflexology and aromatherapy massage, and a counselling service for our patients and carers at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

Through our volunteers, we are able to offer a counselling service and an informal support group every other Wednesday from 10:30am–12 noon. We also run a patient empowerment course titled 'HOPE' (Helping People Overcome Problems) which takes place in the Spring and Autumn of each year.

The information and support service is open to all—patients at the Trust, their family and friends, Trust staff, people living locally to Chelsea and Westminster, or anyone with questions about cancer.

Please call Alison Boyd on 0203 315 2386 (Centre Manager) before you come in to make sure the centre is staffed or email before you make a special visit. For enquiries about complementary therapy and counselling, please call the centre.
