Trust Statement following the Supreme Court Ruling

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust acknowledges the Supreme Court ruling, and subsequent interim EHRC guidance. 

As a Trust, we recognise how challenging these ongoing conversations have been for trans+ and non binary individuals. We are proud to be one of the UK's leading providers of gender affirming services. As such, our unwavering commitment and support for trans+ and non-binary service users and staff remains the same. We will continue to respect and uphold our service users’ right to self-identify and we will continue our commitment to deliver safe, compassionate care to every patient. 

We remain committed to ensuring that the rights and dignity of all our colleagues and patients, including LGBTQ+ individuals, continue to be upheld and respected.
