Birth Centre

Childbirth is a physiological process that, with the right care and support, brings babies safely into the world.

Our midwife-led birth centres are staffed by highly skilled teams who support women and birthing people with uncomplicated pregnancies to give birth in a calm, comfortable environment.

If there are no complications, you are able to go home the same day after giving birth.

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital Birth Centre

The birth centre comprises six rooms—four with birthing pools—with mood lighting that you can control during birth.

West Middlesex University Hospital Lunar Birth Centre

Each birthing room is designed to adapt to your personal requirements, giving you the control and support you need during labour and birth, including two pool rooms for water births. 

We also offer services such as acupuncture, acupressure and other complementary therapies to aid the normal birthing processes.
