Theatre Lead Nurse (Practitioner)

Theatre Lead Practitioners manage specific theatre areas or specialties, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective services. They are responsible for operational management, staff coordination, and service improvement initiatives. 

Development

Advanced leadership skills and experience in theatre management are prerequisites. Continuous development involves engagement with policy development and quality assurance processes.

Deputy Divisional Director of Nursing

Deputy Divisional Directors of Nursing provide senior clinical and operational leadership across a division, which includes perioperative services. They are accountable for quality, safety, workforce, and financial oversight and act as a bridge between frontline teams and executive leadership.

Development

This role requires extensive leadership experience, formal management training, and a background in nursing or AHP practice. Continued development focuses on strategic leadership, system-level improvement, and partnership working across services.
