Now in its 11th year, the Research, Innovation and Quality Improvement (RIQI) Event celebrates the work of colleagues across the Trust who are driving improvements in care, outcomes and experience for our patients.

The event brings together research, innovation and quality improvement activity from across Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, showcasing projects that reflect our commitment to continuously develop and improve.

What to expect

RIQI 2026 will include:

• Presentations from Trust teams showcasing improvement, research and innovation projects
• Poster displays highlighting work from across clinical and corporate services
• Opportunities to connect with colleagues and share learning
• Keynote speakers (to be confirmed)
• Recognition of outstanding work through awards

Schedule overview

A full programme will be published once confirmed. The event is expected to include:

Day 1 — Research evening (time and location TBC)
An evening of keynote speakers and research presentations, followed by networking.

Day 2 — Innovation and RIQI showcase (time and location TBC)
A full day of Trust-led projects, presentations, poster displays and awards.

Details on abstract submissions, attendance and how to get involved will be shared in due course.

Celebrating excellence

RIQI recognises the work of colleagues who are improving quality, safety and patient experience across the Trust.

Awards will be presented to highlight outstanding contributions, with shortlisted projects shared across internal communications following the event.
