The Trust covers a patient population of about 2.6 million and is one of the most diverse in the country, with 50% from ethnic minorities especially at West Middlesex University Hospital. 

Research at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is part of clinical activity within all clinical divisions. Each division has its respective medical and non-medical Divisional Research Leads who promote and oversee research within their areas in line with Research and Trust strategies, policies and procedures.

Specialty Detail
HIV  Our award winning sexual health care services, including 56 Dean Street, is one of the largest HIV and sexual health services in Europe 
Burns Our world-renowned burns service hosts the London and South East of England Burns Operational Delivery Network 
COVID-19  We provide inpatient treatment and care studies across our two hospital sites, and vaccine studies at our clinical research facility 
Maternity  with the second largest maternity service in England, delivering 11,000 babies yearly 
Paediatrics and neonatal medicine We run inpatient and outpatient services, including NICU
