Make Me a Medic is an annual outreach event for sixth form students , designed to give aspiring doctors meaningful exposure to medicine as a profession and to life within the Trust.

All students from Hounslow, Richmond, Fulham, Chelsea, Wandsworth and Westminster are welcome to spend time on site learning more about medical careers, the realities of working as a doctor, and the different skills and attributes needed to pursue a future in medicine.

This year’s Make Me a Medic will be held at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital site on the 9th and 10th April and will be our largest event to date, welcoming 50 students across two days.

The programme includes hands-on practical activities with simulated patients, interactive workshops, debates on topical medical issues, and sessions focused on strengthening UCAS applications and preparing for medical school interviews. It offers students both a realistic insight into medicine and practical guidance to support their next steps toward applying.
