Make, change or cancel an appointment

This information will help you make, change or cancel your appointment with us.

The DrDoctor Patient Portal is our main communication platform. It allows you to view hospital letters, manage appointments online and more.

Make an appointment

All GP referrals must made via the NHS eReferral Service (ERS) and appointments with us are booked through the same system. If you do not receive an appointment date within 40 days of your referral, please contact us.

Please note: You will need the booking reference number stated on your booking letter and a password/access code given to you by your GP practice. Please contact your GP practice if you do not have these details or have lost them.

Appointments are booked in one of the following ways:

  • Your GP will book you while you are at your GP appointment
  • You can call the ERS appointment line at 0345 608 8888—Mon–Fri, 8am–8pm, weekends/bank holidays, 8am–4pm (closed on Christmas Day)—call charges may vary
  • You can book online at www.nhs.uk/referrals
  • You can use a textphone and dial 0345 850 2250
  • Booked by our hospital administration team:
    • Chelsea and Westminster Hospital: 020 3315 6666—Mon–Fri, 8:30am–5:30pm
    • West Middlesex University Hospital: 020 8321 5610—Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm
