Make, change or cancel an appointment

This information will help you make, change or cancel your appointment with us.

Make an appointment

Appointments with us are booked through the NHS eReferral Service (ERS). The ERS allows you to choose and book your first outpatient appointment on a day and time that suits you.

Appointments are booked in one of the following ways:

  • Your GP will book you while you are at your GP appointment
  • You can call the ERS appointment line at 0345 608 8888—Mon–Fri, 8am–8pm, weekends/bank holidays, 8am–4pm (closed on Christmas Day). Call charges may vary.
  • You can book online at www.nhs.uk/referrals
  • You can use a textphone and dial 0345 850 2250

Please note that to book online or through the ERS line, you will need the booking reference number stated on your booking letter and a password/access code given to you by your GP practice. Please contact your GP practice if you do not have these details or have lost them.

If you need to change or are unable to make it to your appointment, please let us know as early as possible so we can offer the date and time to someone else.
