North West London Acute Provider Group appoints chief strategy and transformation officer and director of equity and inclusion

The North West London Acute Provider Group has appointed Hannah Iqbal as its first group chief strategy and transformation officer and Tracey Connage as group director of equity and inclusion. Both will take up their new roles later this year.
Group chief strategy and transformation officer
The North West London Acute Provider Group has appointed Hannah Iqbal as its first group chief strategy and transformation officer following a competitive recruitment process. Hannah will take up the role in November 2026.
Hannah joins the Group from Thames Valley Integrated Care Board, where she is currently chief strategy and commissioning officer. Hannah brings extensive experience of leading strategy, transformation and partnership working across the NHS, having held senior leadership roles in integrated care systems, acute hospitals and at NHS England.
As group chief strategy and transformation officer, Hannah will lead the development and delivery of the Group’s overarching strategy and transformation portfolio. Working closely with Group and trust leaders, she will help align clinical, quality, operational, financial, workforce and digital priorities into a single strategic framework focused on improving outcomes, experience, productivity and sustainability.

Group director of equity and inclusion
Tracey Connage has been appointed group director of equity and inclusion and deputy group chief people officer, a new leadership role reporting to the group chief executive and group chief people officer.
Tracey has been chief people officer at London North West University Hospitals since September 2022 and brings extensive experience in workforce, organisational development and leadership across the public sector.
Tracey will help shape and deliver the Group’s people strategy, workforce transformation and organisational development programmes, champion equity and inclusion and support the development of a high-performing, values-led culture.
Tracey will take up the new role in October 2026.

The North West London Acute Provider Group was formally established on 1 April 2026 to make the best use of the combined resources and expertise of all four acute trusts in north west London for the benefit of patients, local communities and staff.
