Last night, 21 September, we held our first Staff Awards ceremony since before the pandemic, taking the opportunity, in-person, to recognise and commend staff from across our Trust.

Last night, 21 September, we held our first Staff Awards ceremony since before the pandemic, taking the opportunity, in-person, to recognise and commend staff from across our Trust. Nominees and guests enjoyed the well-deserved celebration at the Science Museum, South Kensington. A record 1,066 nominations were submitted this year, highlighting the excellence of our workforce and support within our teams at our hospitals and clinics.
Thank you to our patients and colleagues who nominated our staff, and to our judging panels made up of a diverse selection of staff who had the difficult task of selecting the winners. Across 20 categories, we saw outstanding individuals and teams take home the awards, representing the best of our Trust and the best of our NHS.
For the first Staff Awards event since 2019, we were proud to bring teams together to celebrate those who go above and beyond to care for patients, and we had a great turnout, with 250 guests joining us at the event.
