Chief Medical Officer Dr Roger Chinn took our warmest thanks to the Hounslow Gurdwara on Thursday.

Chief Medical Officer Dr Roger Chinn took our warmest thanks to the Hounslow Gurdwara on Thursday 4th June - one of the organisations which supported us and the broader community during the pandemic. He collected a donation from the organisation on behalf of Trust CEO Lesley Watts and read a letter of thanks from her.

Also present from the Trust was Ajay Meta, a non-executive director of the Trust Board, and Resham Lall, a member of the community and employee of the Trust.  Satwinder Ahdan from the Gurdwara arranged the visit.

The Sikh community stood by our side, providing meals for staff on the frontline which kept them going.  They also provided scrubs for health and social care staff. Dr Chinn praised the community for making the Gurdwara available as a vaccination site, providing the vital jab in a trusted setting with translation available as needed.  Dr Chinn said the hospital and the Temple were both ‘anchor institutions’ supporting the civic life of the borough.
