NHS starts Covid-19 immunisation programme

09 December 2020

The first phase of the NHS Covid-19 vaccination programme has started. When it is the right time people will receive an invitation to come forward.

The first phase of the NHS Covid-19 vaccination programme has started in North West London.  Five vaccination clinics have opened and more will follow.  When it is the right time people will receive an invitation to come forward.

For most people this will be a letter, either from their GP or the national NHS.  This letter will include all the information you will need to book appointments, including your NHS number.

Please do not contact the NHS to get an appointment until you get this letter.

Information on the vaccine is available on the NHS.UK website.

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust will not be immunising the general public, because the NHS has asked us to support the programme in other ways.  We are pleased to support this essential campaign to control Covid-19.

North West London: Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith and Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, and Westminster.
