Fulham 10k running event road closures this Sunday 18 November

This Sunday the City Run Fulham 10k run will place from Elm Brook Common with a 10km closed road route through the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.

This is an event notice for visitors, patients and staff accessing Chelsea and Westminster Hospital this Sunday 18 November.

This Sunday the City Run Fulham 10k run will place from Elm Brook Common with a 10km closed road route through the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.

Around 5,000 people are taking part in the event and there will be road closures in place from 6am–2pm on the day—details below.

Our hospital will be open as normal and we do not expect any impact on our services. However, if you are due to give birth, coming for an appointment or visiting a patient, please check your journey beforehand and allow extra time.

Road closures

  • Sector 1: Closed from 7–10:45am—Barclay Road, Effie Road, Harwood Road, New Kings Road (between Wandsworth Bridge Road and Harwood Road)
  • Sector 2: Closed 8am–11:45pm—Munster Road, Dawes Road, North End Road (between Dawes Road and Walham Grove) 
  • Sector 3: Closed from 8am–12:15pm—Walham Grove, Vanston Place, Jerdan Place, Fulham Road, Fulham Broadway
  • Sector 4: Closed from 8am–12:30pm—Fulham Road, Munster Road, Parsons Green Lane, Burlington Road, Rigault Road, Buer Road, New Kings Road
  • Sector 5: Closed from 6am–2pm—New Kings Road (between Parsons Green Lane and Wandsworth Bridge Road)
