Strike action affecting public transport this week

Tube station staff who are union members are striking today, Monday 9 January. Tube services are severely reduced and some stations will be closed until the end of service today. This means that the majority of stations in Zone 1 are closed.

Tube station staff who are union members are striking today, Monday 9 January. Tube services are severely reduced and some stations will be closed until the end of service today. This means that the majority of stations in Zone 1 are closed. There will be additional bus and river services but roads will be busier than usual. Please allow for additional travel time. Southern Rail

The overtime ban continues so staff will continue to see daily disruption but next week Tuesday 10, Wednesday 11 and Friday 13 January there is a drivers strike so there will be no trains running. Please can all staff using Southern escalate to managers now if there are any issues and can leads of departments check off duty to ensure all areas are covered on these days.
