Boyz Awards for 56 Dean Street

For the second year running 56 Dean Street have won the award for ‘Best Sexual Health Organisation, Charity or Clinic’ at Boyz magazine’s Boyz Awards, and Leigh Chislett (Clinic Manager at 56 Dean Street) won a personal award ‘Outstanding Contribution’ for his services to people with HIV.

For the second year running 56 Dean Street have won the award for ‘Best Sexual Health Organisation, Charity or Clinic’ at Boyz magazine’s Boyz Awards, and Leigh Chislett (Clinic Manager at 56 Dean Street) won a personal award ‘Outstanding Contribution’ for his services to people with HIV.

Lee Watson (Lead Nurse for Sexual Health) said: “We’re incredibly proud that Dean Street has received this award for the second year in a row. It is particularly important to us as the nominations are from the community we serve!

“In addition, this year Leigh Chislett was personally recognised for his outstanding contribution. Leigh has worked in HIV/Sexual Health for many years and is passionate about providing excellent patient care—this personal award is credit to his longstanding leadership and his commitment.

“Congratulations to Leigh and the entire Dean Street team!”

The Boyz Awards ceremony took place at the Two Brewers Cabaret Bar & Club on 22 February. The winners were voted for by more than 6,000 readers and reflect the best of LGBTQ+ culture.
