On Wednesday 4 May, 56 Dean Street will be holding their next event as part of a fortnightly series called ‘The HIV Conversation’.

‘The HIV Conversation’ invites a different interviewee each fortnight to speak about their experiences of stigma, love and wellbeing when living with HIV. The event is free, and open to anybody who wishes to listen. It’s designed to reduce stigma and combat isolation, by spreading awareness through honest dialogue.

At the event coming up, we shall be in conversation with Catalina Hermes. Catalina has been involved with HIV and AIDS advocacy, prevention and management since 1990.  She trained with the Swedish Red Cross as a lecturer in sex education and has been involved with minority issues both in and out of the UK. She brings her knowledge and personal experience to share and, in doing so, hopes to inform and help educate others in the above issues.

‘The HIV Conversation’ will take place in the MediCinema (3rd Floor, Lift Bank C) at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital on Wednesday 4 May at 5pm and all are invited to join.
