QPR and Chelsea fans offered a health MOT this Sunday

19 October 2011

QPR and Chelsea fans are being given the chance to get their health checked out before the big West London derby this Sunday 23 October.

QPR and Chelsea fans are being given the chance to get their health checked out before the big West London derby this Sunday 23 October.

The Chelsea and Westminster Hospital mobile community health clinic (better known as the Health Bus) will be parked up outside Canberra Health Centre on South Africa Road from 12 noon-4pm.

If you would like health advice or a ‘Well-Person Check’, please pop in on your way to the game! A number of QPR fans visited the bus on their way to the recent Aston Villa home fixture, 10 of whom took part in the health screening and two were referred to their GP for high blood pressure.

Many of us have busy lives and are too busy to get a health query or our general health checked out. Here is your opportunity!

This scheme is in partnership with QPR in the Community Trust whose representative Fiona Hodgson said: “Health is one of our key aims as a charity and we wish to provide the local community and our fans with opportunities to take positive action to manage their health.”

Kick off your matchday by doing something positive about your health!
