Tickets still available for Jianing Kong recital—13 April 2010

Up-and-coming pianist Jianing Kong will be performing in aid of the Hospital Arts programme at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital on Tuesday 13 April at the home of Hospital Arts supporter Vernon Ellis on Queen's Gate Terrace, South Kensington.

Up-and-coming pianist Jianing Kong will be performing in aid of the Hospital Arts programme at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital on Tuesday 13 April at the home of Hospital Arts supporter Vernon Ellis on Queen's Gate Terrace, South Kensington.

Born in China in 1986, Jianing studied at the Canton Conservatory of Music before moving to the UK to study under the legendary Ronald Smith at the Purcell School. Jianing went on to study at the Royal College of Music, where he is currently a second year postgraduate student of distinguished concert pianists Gordon Fergus-Thompson and Dimitri Alexeev.

In 2007, Jianing was awarded the Barcapel Prize in the Scottish International Piano Competition, and in 2009 he was awarded a prize for his performance in the Leeds International Piano Competition.

Time: 7 for 7:30 pm
Tickets: £25 to include wine and canapés.
