Charity launches appeal for Bereavement Suite

The West London branch of Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity that supports anyone affected by the death of a baby, has launched a £25,000 fundraising appeal to enable Chelsea and Westminster Hospital Maternity Unit to create a Bereavement Suite that would provide facilities and enable professional and specialist support to take place in a quieter, more homely space.

Staff on the Maternity Unit are dedicated to providing the best possible care for parents when their baby dies.
