David Erskine Ward (4th Floor, Lift Bank D) and Edgar Horne Ward (4th Floor, Lift Bank C) are swapping locations to improve the quality of care provided for patients at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

The move took place on Friday 20 February.

As a result of the relocation of these two medical wards, we are streamlining our services for patients with respiratory problems—including tuberculosis and sleep disorders—on David Erskine Ward while easing the workload on Edgar Horne Ward.

There are dedicated patient and relative rooms on each ward for staff to share private and confidential information with patients and their loved ones in a comfortable and discreet environment.
