An independent healthcare survey published today (Monday 30 November) has named Chelsea and Westminster Hospital as one of the best performing hospitals in England for patient safety.

The Dr Foster Hospital Guide ranked hospitals against 13 safety indicators. Chelsea and Westminster was 4th equal in England and the best performing hospital in North West London.

We are delighted by this independent assessment that we are one of the safest hospitals for patients to be treated in the whole country. This should assure patients that they can expect the safest possible treatment when they come to Chelsea and Westminster.

The Dr Foster Hospital Guide supports the findings of the Care Quality Commission’s annual performance ratings, published in October, which rated Chelsea and Westminster as ‘Excellent’ for the quality of both its services for patients and its financial management—this ranked us among the top 10% of NHS trusts in England.
