Empathetic End of Life Care seminar proves popular with members

It was a full house for the Medicine for Members seminar on End of Life Care, which took place on Tuesday 19 February.

It was a full house for the Medicine for Members seminar on End of Life Care, which took place on Tuesday 19 February.

Chelsea and Westminster Palliative Care Consultant Dr Sarah Cox gave a sensitive presentation covering a variety of aspects about end of life care. The evening concluded with an active question and answer session.

Feedback from attendees showed that 93% people found the seminar useful and 91% would recommend future Medicine for Members events. There were also some very positive comments including:

  • “Dr Cox’s dealing with questions was brilliant—she is obviously an outstandingly, caring and empathetic doctor.”
  • “Dr Cox was excellent at answering questions and putting our fears to rest.”
  • “I found Dr Cox’s presentation very clear, reassuring and informative. Can she please be in charge for me and my family.”

The next Medicine for Members seminar is on ‘Managing your Medicines’ and takes place at 5:30pm on Wednesday 27 February.
