The Mulberry Centre

At West Middlesex University Hospital there is a walk-in cancer information and support centre situated in the grounds of, and at the back of the hospital, called The Mulberry Centre.

The Mulberry Centre is a charity that supports people throughout their cancer journey and beyond, from diagnosis, through treatment and post discharge. We give support to our clients whilst they come to terms with their diagnosis, as well as being able to give tailored strategies to cope with both physical and emotional needs.

We also support carers and family members to deal with these changes. We do this by providing counselling, support groups, complementary therapies, wellbeing classes, workshops, social and creative activities and supporting information to our clients both at our purpose-built centre and remotely.

Our services are all free of charge and we do not have any postcode boundaries for anyone affected by cancer.

We are also able to extend our services to anyone who has a chronic illness and requires end of life care, anyone supporting someone who is receiving end of life care and those bereaved by any illness other than cancer. To access this extended support, you must live or work in Hounslow or have been a recent inpatient at West Middlesex University Hospital.

Come to The Mulberry Centre to...

  • Talk in confidence
  • Relax and recharge
  • Access information
  • Find understanding and support

We are open Monday to Friday, 10am–4pm (8pm on Wednesdays).
