Plastic Surgery (children)
Chelsea and Westminster Hospital is the only hospital in London to offer a wide range of expertise in paediatric plastic surgery.
We care for children with general plastic surgery needs and run a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic with the orthopaedic team to care for children with congenital hand problems.
Our surgeons work closely with several children’s specialties including dermatology, burns, and craniofacial surgery and are fully supported by the physiotherapy, occupational therapy and play therapy teams.
All children are seen by a senior doctor and the team includes a specialist plastic surgery nurse who can provide home visits for children living outside central London who require follow up care including dressing changes or removal of stiches.
