Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS foundation Trust welcomed The Worshipful the Mayor of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea on Wednesday 9 September.

Councillor Robert Freeman came to the hospital on this day to mark Her Majesty the Queen becoming the longest reigning UK monarch and to visit some of our elderly patients. Gwen Hay, Matron for Medicine, and Charmaine Robinson, Senior Sister, gave him a tour of two of our wards and the mayor joined some of our elderly patients during their morning tea and quiz time!

Cllr Robert Freeman said: “I very much enjoyed my visit to Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and talking to so many wonderful staff and patients. I was particularly struck by the dedication of staff and their care and attention to the wellbeing of patients.”
