Foundation Trust members were invited to attend the Medicine for Members seminar on Thursday 22 May which focused on Keeping you well with presentations addressing key parts of the Trust’s Health and Wellbeing Strategy.

The strategy was introduced by Public Health Registrar Abigail Knight, followed by presentations by Helen Stracey (Dietetics Service Manager), Kevin Kennie (Smoking Cessation Advisor), Darren Brown (Physiotherapist) on physical activity and James Lovendoski (Advanced Nurse Specialist) on alcohol advice.

Attendees had the opportunity to discuss and feed back to the presenters their thoughts and ideas around our strategy and how it incorporates the Trust values.

Feedback was positive and noted that the presentations were informative and relevant:

  • ‘Useful and interesting content which was well presented’
  • ‘I feel the aims of the Trust are excellent’
  • ‘The speakers have done a very good job tonight’
