Ahead of International Day of the Midwife, our West Mid maternity team has been featured in The Times in a photo series by photographer James Kent.
The article, titled It Takes a Village, highlights the multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals—including midwives, operating department practitioners (ODPs), anaesthetists, obstetric surgeons, and nurses—who work together to bring life into the world. It also shares some of their personal stories.
These photos will soon be on display in an exhibition at West Middlesex University Hospital, thanks to a grant funded by CW+.
