Heart of Hounslow

COVID-19 advice

Important information—please do not attend Heart of Hounslow unless you have telephoned us first

In order to limit the spread of coronavirus, we have changed the way patients can access sexual health services. At present we have suspended our walk-in service, but we are offering appointments Mon–Fri. We are taking measures to ensure that social distancing can be maintained to optimise staff and patient safety.

If you would like to make an appointment, please call 020 8630 3295. Sexual Health services will be provided at Twickenham House, and contraceptive services will be provided at our clinic in Heart of Hounslow. Only our young persons clinic Friday 2–4pm remains walk-in.

The numbers of patients we can see may vary daily depending on available staffing. Please only attend if you have been triaged (assessed) over the phone and given an appointment in our clinic.

If you have a booked appointment coming up we will contact you if any changes need to be made.

Many thanks for your understanding and your patience at this difficult time.

Heart of Hounslow is our main contraception clinic and provides a range of contraceptive and specialist reproductive health services from Monday to Friday. Most contraceptive treatments can be given in the same visit and we provide specialist clinics for long term contraception such as the IUS or IUD.

You can get emergency contraception from pharmacies for free, please call pharmacies directly to enquire about how to collect it from them.

If you think you need PEP, please call us on 020 8321 5718 Mon–Fri. Over the weekend, you can call NHS 111 for advice on attending a hospital A&E/Urgent Treatment Centre for PEP.
