Heart of Hounslow Sexual Health service is open. If you require contraception or you have symptoms of a sexually transmitted infection, please call 020 8630 3295 for an appointment.

We offer a walk-in clinic for young people aged 19 years and under on Fridays from 2–4pm. Please note that young people under 16 years old can walk in anytime during our opening hours.

General walk-in is available from Mon–Fri at our main site in Twickenham House.

Service update during COVID-19

To help keep our patients and staff are safe, do not come to the clinic if you have symptoms suggestive of COVID-19 such as cough, fever, shortness of breath, or think you may have come into contact with coronavirus.

Please wear a face covering and use a hand sanitiser when you enter the building.

COVID-19 advice is available via NHS 111 and at Gov.uk Coronavirus (COVID-19): guidance.

Heart of Hounslow is our main contraception clinic and provides a range of contraceptive and specialist reproductive health services from Monday to Friday. Most contraceptive treatments can be given in the same visit and we provide specialist clinics for long term contraception such as the IUS or IUD.

Please note: For all methods of contraception, if you are not resident within our agreed local authority area we will be unable to see you at our service. A member of staff can discuss this with you on 020 8321 5718 or 020 8630 3295.

You can get emergency contraception from pharmacies for free—please call a local pharmacy directly to enquire about how to collect it from them.

If you think you need PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis), please call us on 020 8321 5718 Mon–Fri. Over the weekend, you can call NHS 111 for advice or go to your nearest A&E/Urgent Treatment Centre for PEP.
