Sexual Health Hounslow

Sexual Health Hounslow provides free contraception, sexual health and HIV services across the London borough of Hounslow. We aim to deliver, confidential, friendly and high quality care at our three sites. We provide routine testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), HIV testing and treatment, emergency contraception and a range of contraceptive treatments. Each of our clinics offers different services at different times including specialist clinics for young people:

Getting seen

Book an appointment if you:

  • are worried about your sexual health
  • require treatment
  • have symptoms
  • have had sex with someone with a confirmed sexually transmitted infection (STI)/sexually transmitted disease (STD)
  • would like safer sex advice or counselling support 
  • need contraception
  • require HIV follow-up care 

Walk in if you:

  • need PEP (a treatment taken within 72 hours after risky sex for 28 days to help prevent HIV infection)
  • require emergency contraception
  • are aged 17 or under 
  • need an urgent assessment (a member of the team will discuss this with you)
  • need PrEP monitoring or are on the IMPACT trial
  • require simple contraception and a sexual health screen (not coils or implants)

Services for young persons (under-20s)

During our young persons’ clinic times at Heart of Hounslow and Feltham, we can provide contraception, STI testing, give advice and answer any questions you may have around sexual health or relationships. The clinics are confidential and you don't have to be having sex or be over 16 to attend.

Useful information for young persons


Your test results will be sent via text message within 7–10 days. If we require you to return to clinic regarding your recent test results, someone from the team will contact you directly to make arrangements.
