Young People

If you are 18 or under, we offer a free, friendly and confidential walk-in service every day during opening hours. You do not need an appointment. The service is run by non-judgmental staff members who are used to dealing with sensitive issues.

At all our clinics we provide:

  • Testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs/STDs)
  • HIV tests
  • Emergency contraception and pregnancy testing
  • Contraception

It is not necessary to bring your parents or an adult with you, but it can be helpful if you are under 16. If you do wish to bring an adult with you, they do not have to be in the room when you have your consultation—it’s your choice.

We do not routinely let your GP or anyone else know about your visit or your personal information.

Family planning

We offer a wide range of short, long acting and emergency contraception to women attending for integrated sexual health care.

Short acting methods include the combined pill, progestogen-only pill, vaginal ring and patch. The long acting methods we offer include the contraceptive injection, implants, and copper and progestogen-containing coils (Mirena and Jaydess).

If you would like an implant or coil, please book into one of our long-acting reversible contraception (LARC) clinics.

Please note that these clinics are extremely busy and should you be late, we may have to reschedule your appointment. If there has been a risk of pregnancy, coil insertion may not be possible.

If you require the pill, patch or vaginal ring, you may book into a general clinic appointment, provided you are also attending for a sexual health screen.

Termination of pregnancy

If you are considering a termination of pregnancy and are registered with a GP, you may access an appointment directly from the following services:

If you are unsure, or would like further information or assistance with the referral process, you may discuss this with one of our Sexual Health Advisers. Please contact 020 3315 9779 to book an appointment with a Sexual Health Adviser.
