Arj Imbuldeniya is a London trained consultant hip and knee specialist surgeon who utilises the latest proven, cost-effective technology and advances in medicine to provide the best care for his patients. He graduated as a medical doctor in 2001 from St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospitals Medical School. Prior to taking up his consultant post, Mr Imbuldeniya undertook international specialist fellowship training at the Mater Hospital in Sydney, Australia, the largest joint replacement centre in the Southern Hemisphere. In 2018 he was awarded the prestigious ESSKA European Travelling Knee Fellowship where he lived and worked in Barcelona learning from international leaders in regenerative and knee preserving soft tissue surgery. Mr Imbuldeniya is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, a member of The British Hip Society, The British Association for Surgery of the Knee and is on the Executive Committee of The Computer Assisted Orthopedic Society UK. He is actively involved in both research and training, the next generation of doctors and surgeons on the North West Thames Orthopaedic rotation, Physician Associates at St Georges Hospital Medical School, and is an examiner for final year medical students from Imperial College.
