West Middlesex Vaccine Hub opens to 12–16 year olds this weekend

12 January 2022

We are delighted to offer the COVID-19 vaccine to 12–16 year olds on 15 and 16 January at the West Middlesex University Hospital site.

We are delighted to offer the COVID-19 vaccine to 12–16 year olds on 15 and 16 January at the West Middlesex University Hospital site.

In an effort to keep people healthy and safe, we are expanding the reach of our vaccination program to young people in the local community, making it more convenient than ever for people in our surrounding hospital areas to get their COVID-19 vaccine.

The West Middlesex University Hospital site opened to the public in December 2021, ensuring those aged 16 and over could receive their booster three months after receiving their second dose.

Vanessa Sloane (Deputy Chief Nurse) said: “We are delighted to offer the COVID-19 vaccine to 12–16 year olds for 1st vaccination or 2nd vaccination after 12 weeks. The opportunity to expand our vaccination programme means supporting our staff and local community in improving our local vaccination rates and thus immunity.”

For those aged 12–16 year, please pop along on Saturday 15 January or Sunday 16 January between 8:30am and 3:30pm.

You can book in directly and we're also open to walk-ins.

We continue to offer 1st, 2nd and booster vaccinations for those over the age of 16. Book directly for yourself or your friends and family.

Get your jab and help us help you and the country to stay protected and safe.

Please note: The service this weekend open only for 12–16s for 1st and 2nd (3 months after 1st) COVID vaccinations.
