Following the announcement of Tier 2 restrictions in London from midnight on Friday, the Trust continues to provide safe care for its patients. It encourages all patients to take appointments offered so that they can get the treatment they need.

Lesley Watts, Chief Executive Officer, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust said today:

"We are working closely with our partners across London to keep services running for our patients.

"Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, West Middlesex University Hospital, and our community services are safe and providing care for our patients.  We have taken measures to ensure that we can treat patients safely whether they are Covid-positive or not.  These include testing staff and patients, and separating treatment of different types of patient to minimise infection risk.  Our plans have been reviewed and signed off by external NHS experts. We ask everyone attending the hospital to help by wearing masks, socially distancing, and using the hand gel provided.

"We encourage patients to attend the appointments they are offered to get the treatment they need.”
