Hospital to host fundraising dinner for the Philippines

Following the terrible destruction in the Philippines’ after typhoon Haiyan, West Middlesex University Hospital is pleased to host a fundraising dinner on Wednesday 27 November.

Following the terrible destruction in the Philippines’ after typhoon Haiyan, West Middlesex University Hospitalis pleased to host a fundraising dinner on Wednesday 27 November.

The hospital has a strong Filipino contingent with around 200 of its staff from the Philippines.

A local chef will be joining the hospital’s ISS kitchen for one evening only to serve a traditional Filipino menu, and staff are generously donating their time to the event. There will also be a display of traditional Filipino dancing. 

Tickets are available at £10 per head from the charity desk located in the hospital atrium every day between 9.00am – 5.00pm until 26 November. Please purchase tickets ahead of the event as availability is limited.

In addition staff will be collecting donations at the hospital over the next few weeks.

All proceeds will be split equally between the Philippine Red Cross and Sagip Kapmilya.
