98% of A&E patients would recommend services at Chelsea and Westminster

98% of patients who were admitted to A&E at Chelsea and Westminster would recommend the hospital to their family and friends according the results of the December Family and Friends Test.

The Department of Health led ‘Friends and Family Test’ is offered to patients who have had an overnight stay in adult inpatient ward (excluding maternity) or patients who have attended A&E.

Patients are asked whether they would recommend their care or treatment to friends and family.

96% of inpatients who completed the Friends and Family Test (excluding maternity) would also recommend Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.  

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital is one of the pilot Trusts for the Friends and Family Test, which is due to be launched nationally in April 2013. If you have been an inpatient or treated in A&E, you can ask for a Friends and Family test to complete.
