World Diabetes Day on Wednesday 14 November was marked at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital by the latest in our popular series of free health seminars for Foundation Trust members—‘Medicine for Members’.

Dr Michael Feher (Clinical Lead for Diabetes) and his colleagues Miranda Greg (Senior Diabetes Dietitian) and Emily Northover (Diabetes Specialist Nurse) were the guest speakers.

The speakers were introduced by Foundation Trust Governor Susan Maxwell who also chaired a question and answer session at the end of the talks.

Feedback was extremely positive with comments including “It was reassuring to know more about the disease and advances in treatment”, “Very good talk” and “This has been a very useful seminar”.
