Trust shortlisted for national awards

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital has been shortlisted in two categories of the Health Service Journal Efficiency Awards—winners will be announced on 25 September.
The Trust was shortlisted in the ‘Communicating Efficiency’ category for the Fit for the Future internal communications campaign.
The campaign has informed and involved staff in the ongoing challenge to maintain and improve quality of services while making significant cost improvements. Last year the Trust achieved a cost improvement of £19.7 million.
The Trust was also shortlisted in the ‘Efficiency in Procurement’ category for the Fulham Road Collaborative project to establish a joint contract for services including catering, portering and cleaning at not only Chelsea and Westminster but also the Royal Brompton and Royal Marsden hospitals.
