Chelsea and Westminster Hospital is the setting for the popular BBC documentary series Junior Doctors: Your Life In Their Hands which is being repeated on BBC3 from next Monday 15 October.

The series, which was originally shown on BBC3 earlier this year and watched by an average audience of 2.5 million viewers per episode, will be shown in six one-hour episodes at 8pm on BBC3 on Monday nights.

A new one-hour ‘catch-up’ episode, which updates viewers about what our junior doctors are up to now, will be shown at the end of the series.

The programme follows the lives of eight junior doctors at work and at home as they adjust to taking the giant leap from medical school to the fast pace of some of the busiest and most challenging wards and departments in one of the country’s leading hospitals

Filming took place at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital from August to November 2011.

Thank you to all staff and patients who took part.
