Chelsea and Westminster Hospital Training Exercise—Friday 22 June

21 June 2012

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital will be taking part in a training exercise tomorrow, Friday 22 June from 10am—12:30pm to test its preparedness for a major incident.

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital will be taking part in a training exercise tomorrow, Friday 22 June from 10am—12:30pm to test its preparedness for a major incident.

As part of the exercise, the hospital’s Evacuation Plan will be tested to rehearse how the hospital would work together with other organisations—for example, police, fire and ambulance services—in the event of a real major incident.

The hospital will continue to provide a full service as usual and visitors should experience little or no disruption.

During the exercise, emergency vehicles will be located outside the hospital on Fulham Road and they may also be parked in Hollywood Road (adjacent to the hospital).

Please do not be alarmed or concerned—it is all part of the training exercise.

For further information about the training exercise, please contact Catherine Sands (Acting Emergency Planning Lead Officer) on 020 8746 8000 and ask for bleep 6729.
