British Medical Association (BMA) action today

21 June 2012

A British Medical Association (BMA) day of action is taking place today in response to the Government’s public sector pension reforms.

A British Medical Association (BMA) day of action is taking place today in response to the Government’s public sector pension reforms.

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has put plans in place to minimise any impact of this industrial action on our services for patients.

All urgent and emergency services—for example, A&E, Maternity, Intensive Care and urgent or emergency surgery—will be provided as usual.

If non-urgent or more routine services are affected by doctors taking industrial action, patients have been contacted directly to rearrange these appointments.

We apologise to patients for any inconvenience this will cause.
