Hospitals will offer as wide a service as possible

29 September 2021

The Trust is making contingency plans around possible fuel shortages.

The Trust is making contingency plans around possible fuel shortages. We plan to operate as full a service as possible.  Our main suppliers through the NHS continue to make deliveries, and both London Ambulance Service and HATS patient transport continue to operate.

  • Do try to come to your appointments.
  • We are receiving supplies and our staff are working hard to reach our hospitals and community services.
  • We hope to avoid cancellations but if this becomes necessary in some areas we will let you know as soon as we can.
  • If you cannot make your appointment let us know as soon as possible as we may be able to offer the slot to someone else.
  • For urgent care, do attend A+E in a genuine emergency. Use the 111 online service to see whether you can be treated effectively closer to home.
