Our finances
Financial stability underpins the quality of services that we are able to provide for patients.
The economic downturn and the need for the NHS in North West London to reduce its costs by £1 billion over the next three years means that we have to make significant cost savings.
We have taken a strategic approach to delivering cost savings which has helped to maintain financial stability.
At the same time we aim to achieve a surplus to reinvest in improvements to patient care—as a Foundation Trust we are able to retain our surplus at the end of the financial year and can choose how to spend it in order to improve the quality of our services.
