The HOPE course

A group for people who have experienced cancer treatment.
This course runs on Thursday afternoons for six weeks and gives you the chance to meet people like you. The HOPE course aims to help you move forward, learn about managing stress as well dealing with other common effects of cancer and it's treatment.

Health and Wellbeing Events

As part of the National Living With and Beyhond Cancer Initiative, Chelsea and Westminster NHS Fdn Trust hold Health and Wellbeing Events for people who have been diagnosed and treated for cancer at our hospitals.  Events are informal gatherings, giving you the chance to talk with other people affected by cancer.  Free information, advice and educational talks from healthcare professionals are provided and are aimed at helping people to manage the effects of cancer and it's treatment.

Topics usually include:

  • Physical activity and managing fatigue
  • Diet and Cancer
  • Manging sleep problems
  • Anxiety and stress management
  • Singing for Health tasters
  • Intimacy and relationships
