Chelsea and Westminster Hospital boasts some of the latest screening tools for diagnosing cancer. We have teams of Radiologists using the latest imaging equipment, including CT and MRI scans, and nuclear medicine.
We can also offer PET scanning via our links with other hospitals in the area. Many patients require investigative tests including endoscopy and colonoscopy and this is provided by our nationally renowned Gastroenterology service.
Our Pathology Services are able to provide a rapid results service, ensuring that blood results are returned speedily. This cuts waiting times and ensures that treatments such as chemotherapy can commence in the shortest possible time.
Your GP will be able to access results electronically using our Electronic Patient Record system, making the whole process of diagnosis quicker and more convenient.
Referral for these services will be made by your GP if he/she suspects cancer.
