Sexual Health Sutton clinics

There are three clinics in Sutton providing different services with varying opening times, including evenings and weekends.

Sexual Health at St Helier Hospital

Block D, Ground Floor, Wrythe Lane, Carshalton, SM5 1AA

For contraception including pills, depo injections, implants, UICs (coils), emergency contraception (morning after pill), pregnancy testing and referral for abortion. This clinic also provides STI screening and treatment (including people who have symptoms) and for advice if you think you may have been in contact with someone who has an STI.

Walk-in times

Mon–Fri: 8:30am–11:30am (registration starts at 8:15am)
Wed: 3–5:30pm—Check It Out clinic for under 20s only

Walk-in services at St Helier are for:

  • people who need to see a sexual health doctor
  • people who require STI and HIV testing
  • people who need post exposure prophylaxis following exposure to HIV (PEP)
  • Emergency contraception
  • Treatment for an STI 

At other times we provide emergency walk in slots for people with urgent needs (for example, genital blisters or PEP). You will be assessed by a healthcare worker upon arrival.

Tue: 2–3:30pm (express clinic for people with no STI symptoms only) and 4–6:30pm

Getting to Sexual Health at St Helier

The clinic is located on the Ground Floor, Block D of St Helier Hospital. A number of buses stop outside the hospital. Car parking is provided and is pay on exit. 

Contraception and Sexual Health at Green Wrythe Lane Clinic

The Circle, Middleton Road, Carshalton, SM5 1JF 

For contraception including pills, depo injections, implants, UICs (coils), emergency contraception (morning after pill), pregnancy testing and referral for abortion. This clinic also provides treatment for chlamydia and screening for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) including chlamydia, gonorrhoea, HIV and syphilis screening if you have no symptoms.

Walk-in clinics

On occasion we are not able to see everybody if the clinic is very busy, but we will always see you if you need emergency contraception (morning after pill). Please arrive 30 minutes before closing.

Mon: 1–7:30pm—Check It Out clinic for under 20s and emergencies only
Tue–Thu: 5–7pm 
Fri: 9:30am–4pm
Sat: 10am–12 noon—nurse-led clinic (no doctor available)

Walk-in services at Green Wrythe Lane are with a nurse for:

  • Pregnancy testing
  • Contraception 
  • Abortion referral
  • STI testing for people with no symptoms
  • Long acting reversible contraception (if appropriate/availability)

Appointment-only clinics

Appointments can be made during our walk-in times for the contraception doctor. If you are unsure if you need to see a doctor we advise attending the walk in or call for advice first. 

  • Tue–Thu: 1–4pm—appointment only for nurse-led clinics

Getting to Sexual Health at Green Wrythe Lane

The clinic is located on the 1st floor of Green Wrythe Lane Health Centre. A number of buses stop outside the health centre. Car parking is available via on street parking.

Contraception and Sexual Health at Jubilee Health Centre

1st Floor, Jubilee Clinic West, Shotfield, Wallington, SM6 0HY

For contraception including pills, depo injections, implants, UICs (coils), emergency contraception (morning after pill), pregnancy testing and referral for abortion. This clinic also provides treatment for chlamydia and screening for sexually transmitted infections (STIs) including chlamydia, gonorrhoea, HIV and syphilis screening if you have no symptoms.

Getting to Sexual Health at Jubilee Health Centre

Jubilee Health Centre is a short walk from Wallington Town Centre and Wallington rail station and is located near the Wallington bus terminal.
