Contraception

We provide a range of contraception and reproductive health services for women including:

  • Contraception (pills and injection)
  • Long acting contraception (Implant, IUD and IUS)
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Emergency contraception
  • Referral for termination of pregnancy
  • Free condoms

Our main contraception clinic is located at Green Wrythe Lane Clinic for walk-in, with appointments available at St Helier Hospital and Jubilee Health Centre.

Emergency contraception

Emergency contraception is a method used after unprotected sex. This is sometimes refered to as the ‘morning after pill’. There is more than one method of emergency contraception.

If you have had unprotected sex in the last 5 days, we advise you attend a walk-in service to discuss your emergency contraception options.

If we are closed a number of local pharmacists provide emergency contraception free of charge. Please ask at your local pharmacy.
